Garcia benched - Connor Shaw as their new starter

Many have said it, but now it became a reality. Stephen Garcia will be benched and replaced by Connor Shaw in their week-game against Kentucky. Steve Spurrier has said, "This is his gime, it's his opportunity to go play and we think he's ready". It's a great game for Shaw to have his second start in. LSU just rolled over Kentucky, and with Lattimore as Shaw's runningback, they will no matter what win this game.

So, if any of you are thinking about, why Garcia is benched, I can tell you. Garcia has thrown 6 interceptions the last two weeks. As far as I know, that's most in NCAA over the last two weeks. He should have perfect opportunities for a perfect passing game. His runningback is possibly the best in NCAA, and he has a star receiver in Alshon Jeffery. But he can't complete the simple passes, and he's just too mistake-prone.

I will look forward to see Shaw in his second start for the Gamecocks.
